South Spirit - Tofu Touge Event!

With COVID-19 among us, we unfortunately cannot go to meetings or go for a ride with friends. However, it is the perfect time to go driving on that sim that has been collecting dust for some time! We hope you're just as excited for our Touge Event as we are!

We advise using the Assetto Corsa Content Manager, downloadable here.

This makes it easier to join servers and switch cars, but also makes it possible to bind extra keys.

Just a couple of rules and guidelines beforehand:

If you spin/crash, get out of the way of other people coming. Preferrably, reset to the pit immediately. Please bind a button on your steering wheel for this. In the Content Manager, this is in: Settings - Assetto Corsa - Controls - System - Under race "Teleport to pits". If we see this happens too often, this could lead to a kick.
When you finish a lap, finish the cooldown lap. Don't drive against the driving direction at the start. You will get a penalty for this if you do.
When out on track, drive as fast as you can. If someone faster comes up, try and get out of the racing line to let them by.

The South Spirit club members will also be driving, but will ofcourse be exluded from the contest.

Now for the map and the cars, you can download them below. To install them into Assetto Corsa, you can extract these into the root folder of Assetto Corsa. This is usually:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\assettocorsa

SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\assettocorsa

if you've moved your Steam install folder.

The event starts Saturday January 16th on the South Spirit Server! (Just search for South Spirit) at 14:00 CET (See what that is in your time here)
